IPC/PWBRC Technical Database

The PWBRC Technical database contains papers from proceedings of IPC-sponsored technical conferences from 1996 on. Most are available full-text as Portable Document Format (PDF) documents which require the Adobe Acrobat Reader. Currently, the PWBRC technical database contains 405 documents. See the Search Tips for help on constructing complex search terms.

For a short time period, the PWBRC is piloting some new features, including this technical database. The purpose of the pilot is to collect feedback from PWBRC users, which will be used to guide our future efforts. During the pilot, the technical database will available to all PWBRC users. In the future, this feature will only be available to subscribers.

Search Tips

  • Enter a single word or phase to find exact matches of the entry. Score is based on the density of the occurrences of the search term in the title, author, and abstract.
  • AND and OR can be used to narrow or widen searches of more than one word or phrase.
  • The wildcard character * can be used to widen a search using a single word root. For example the search term chrom* would return documents matching chromium, chromates, hard chrome, etc. To include dichromates, the term would have to be *chrom*.
  • The wildcard character ? is used to take the place of a single letter or number. For example, the search term sulf??es would return documents matching both sulfates and sulfides, but not sulfamates.
